What is at stake?

This Thursday, December 1, at the occasion of the World Aids Day, the European Parliament will vote on a resolution for the battle against HIV/AIDS in the European Union and neighbouring countries. The resolution is an mid-term evaluation of a communication from the Commission on the topic.

This resolution promotes abortion and “sexual and reproductive health rights” (which includes abortion) under the pretext of the fight against HIV/AIDS.

The proposal for a resolution is introduced as a common position of all political groups.
